White Sands National Park is a beautiful area with wave like dunes of sand englufing the desert! Theres not a ton to do but its definitley amazing to see! There are a few hikes you can do from easy to strenuous and the best part is you can go sledding on the dunes! Its a pretty amazing place to visit!

The Dune Life Nature Trail - This is a family friendly trail thats a 1 mile round trip easy to moderate hike. There are a few signs explaining the wildlife around the area. They are kinda hard to read as the sun has worn on them but theres some interesting information on them! Dogs are also allowed on this trail they just need to be on a leash!

Interdune Boardwalk - This trail is on a boardwalk and there are signs about the wildlife and information about how the dunes formed. It also leads to a scenic overlook of the dune fields and mountains.
